The Lower School Enrichment Program and extracurricular activities provide students with dynamic opportunities to discover new passions, develop essential skills, and build meaningful connections.

The Student Leadership Club empowers students in Grades 4–6 to take on leadership roles and initiate positive change. Through student-led projects—such as collecting books for schools affected by the Palisades Fire and organizing donation drives for local animal shelters—members develop leadership skills while making a tangible impact. "I am learning to take charge and understand different leadership roles," said Ian H. '31. "I am also looking forward to running for president on the Upper Campus one day." This dynamic program encourages young leaders to take charge, inspire others, and leave a lasting legacy at the Lower School.

Alongside leadership development, Sierra Canyon provides a wide range of enrichment programs that enhance students' academic experiences and personal growth. The Green Team engages students in environmental projects, such as maintaining the school garden and creating eco-friendly art, fostering a passion for sustainability. Intro to Coding provides students with foundational skills in programming, while Lego Robotics offers hands-on experience in engineering and programming. At the same time, Rocket Science allows students to explore aerodynamics and physics through interactive projects, fostering a deeper understanding of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM). Activities like Musical Theater Production, Dance, and Foreign Language encourage creativity and self-expression, giving students ample opportunities to explore their interests and refine their skills.

One of the most beloved clubs in the Lower School, the Birthday Club fosters a strong sense of community by making every student feel valued and celebrated. Open to students in Grades 3–6, the club distributes personalized cards and small treats, promoting a culture of kindness that reflects our Character Program.

The Lower School Enrichment Program broadens students' perspectives and equips them with essential skills that go beyond the classroom, laying the foundation for future success.
