With the end of the school year, it is time to say goodbye and honor the extraordinary journey of the Class of 2024.
On Thursday, May 30, the 12th Grade Commencement Ceremony was held at the Sierra Canyon Stadium. Families and friends came together to celebrate our students' achievements and cheer them on to new horizons. At the event, Head of School Jim Skrumbis paid tribute to the graduating class on behalf of the faculty. Dylan O. delivered the valedictorian address, while Bailee W. presented the salutatorian remarks.
"Remember, failure will teach you more about yourself, and it will eventually make you stronger," advised Mr. Vimal Lala, Chairman of the Board of Trustees. "Learn, fight, persevere, practice resilience, and nothing will stop you."
The Class of 2024 is bound for greatness. Our 129 seniors applied to 238 different schools and were admitted to 190 colleges and universities. They will proudly matriculate to the finest colleges and universities in the country, with 79% being accepted into the most highly selective institutions in the nation. The recipients of this year's Graduation Awards are a true reflection of the excellence within our community, and we are proud to honor their accomplishments.

This year's 25 Lifers were also presented with their "K Bears," which celebrate the remarkable journey of these students who joined the Sierra Canyon community during their Pre-Kindergarten or Kindergarten years.
