This month, Middle and Upper School students were recognized at Sierra Canyon's annual awards assemblies, highlighting their outstanding academic achievements for the 2023-2024 school year.
The Core Value of Excellence is at the very essence of a Sierra Canyon education. Each year, faculty and administration select a handful of students who stand out and demonstrate a noteworthy commitment to striving for their personal best. The Academic Awards Ceremony, held on Wednesday, May 29, celebrated dedicated Trailblazers from Grades 7-12, who received department awards, book awards, and community service recognition. Students are also honored for making the Head of School and Dean's lists. The Head of School List is awarded to those who have achieved a minimum of an A- or higher in all courses. Meanwhile, the Dean's List recognizes students who have attained a GPA of 3.6 or above and have not received a grade lower than a B- in any subject.
