Sierra Canyon is excited to begin the 4th–6th Grade athletic program.

During Physical Education, 4th–6th Grade students can participate in various sports, including competitive and non-competitive options. After spending the first couple weeks rotating through and trying the sports offerings during PE classes, students choose one sport to commit to for the season. The fall competitive sports program offers Co-Ed Football, Girls' Basketball, and Co-Ed Swimming, in which 63% of students are enrolled. The non-competitive sports program offers Co-Ed Tennis and Co-Ed Soccer and allows students to develop their skills and enjoy the sport without the pressure of competition.

Lower School student-athletes learn from professional and highly knowledgeable coaches, including current Upper Campus Varsity Coaches. Sports practices on the Lower Campus occur during the Physical Education period to accommodate busy family schedules, and interscholastic games and meets are scheduled after school. At Sierra Canyon, we have nurtured more than our share of champion athletes. By always striving to do better than yesterday, on and off the field, our students live out cherished values of teamwork and sportsmanship.

If you have any questions about the 4th–6th Grade fall season, please contact Assistant Athletic Director David Sobel at [email protected].
