Sierra Canyon's beloved Homecoming festivities wrapped up last week, bringing Trailblazers together for an unforgettable celebration of school spirit and community.
The week began with excitement at our sixth annual Homecoming with a Bang: Family Pep Rally, where families gathered at the SC Stadium to revel in their Sierra Canyon pride—the evening showcased the Parade of Athletes, a beloved tradition of Upper Campus teams proudly marching alongside Lower School students. Highlights included performances from the Lower School Chamber Ensemble, Lower Campus Dance Company, and Upper School Cheer, leading up to a dazzling fireworks display officially launching Homecoming Week at Sierra Canyon.

Following the Family Pep Rally, students returned to campus energized for Homecoming Spirit Week, bringing creativity and enthusiasm to each theme day. Both campuses were alive with jubilantly thematic outfits for Jersey Day, Pink Out, Pajama Day, and Color Clash. The Associated Student Body (ASB) kept the excitement going with grade-level competitions on the Upper Campus, all building up to Friday's lively Pep Rally.
The excitement reached its peak with the Homecoming Football Game against Loyola, where the Trailblazers dominated with a score of 45-0. Lower, Middle, and Upper School families and alums filled the stands, celebrating the vibrancy that proclaims the strength of our school community. Sebastian S. '36, the Lower School Homecoming VIP Experience winner, enjoyed the prize of sitting on the sidelines with friends, adding to the energetic atmosphere. The festivities ended with the Upper School Homecoming Dance on Saturday, bringing together students for a fun night.
