On Wednesday, September 6, new Sierra Canyon families gathered at the home of Jim and Dina Skrumbis for a welcome reception.
This week, new families were invited to enjoy an evening with the SC administration, Parent Association leadership, and other community members. Along with delightful conversations and great wine, including our home-grown Sierra Canyon Rosé, attendees enjoyed hors d'oeuvres curated by alumnus Miles R. '17, owner of FourFortyFour Creations.
During the reception, parents had the opportunity to hear from Mr. Skrumbis and SC Founder Howard Wang, emphasizing that this event is an opportunity to honor our diversity and celebrate our unity; we are all one family on this educational journey together. Also on hand were Sierra Canyon's Parent Association (PA) leadership members. Parent involvement and support are essential for the activities and events that the PA organizes throughout the school year, and they strive to make parents feel welcome and included from the start. We encourage you to immerse yourself in the Sierra Canyon experience and get involved.
