Raising the Bar: SC Alums Set a New Giving Challenge Record

This year's 72 in 72 Alumni Giving Challenge highlighted once again the remarkable engagement of our Sierra Canyon alumni community. Together, we raised an impressive $5,820, surpassing our previous Challenge records and proving that the Trailblazer spirit remains strong long after graduation.

Graduating from Sierra Canyon is only the beginning of a lifelong connection. By giving back each year at this time, alumni honor the transformative experiences they shared here and invest in the future of our current students. Each gift—no matter the size—makes a tremendous difference and reaffirms their unique shared legacy.

This year's challenge marked the highest turnout we've ever seen from early alums who attended Sierra Canyon in the 1980s, 1990s, and 2000s. The Class of 2024 had the most donors, while the Classes of 2013 and 2019 tied for second place in overall support. Every graduating senior class in SC's history since 2009 had at least one participant—a true testament to the enduring connections formed at SC. More than 20 donors also contributed for their second (or more) consecutive year.
